Land & Lineage Acknowledgement
This work arises in reverence to the earth-based spiritual traditions and indigenous wisdoms that have held humanity through all cycles of life. I recognize that much of what I share is rooted, directly or indirectly, in those sacred traditions, and I honor the cultures and peoples who have preserved them.
In particular, I acknowledge the indigenous land on which this work was dreamed, written, and shared, and the traditional custodians of weaning rites, women’s circles, and rites of passage across the African Diaspora, the Americas, Asia, Europe, and beyond. Their wisdom pulses through these practices, often carried silently through grandmothers’ hands, midwives’ prayers, and ancestral memory.
To the wisdom-keepers, story-holders, and spiritual lineages, both my own and those whose practices I humbly reference, I offer gratitude, humility, and a commitment to continued learning, right relationship, and cultural respect. May this work be an offering back to the great web of life.
